Hi,

Have just subscribed - primarily for the keyboard course (but will no doubt find the others most interesting) - after sampling the lessons on Casio's Music Academy website (and using their discount code).

The course/s look great, but I have noticed that there don't seem to be videos or Xtractor files for LEVELS 2&3. Am I missing something, or is this work in progress? Just wondering how we can send in our analyses to get those grades if we can't submit the files.

Great course though! Am most enthused about it!! :)

You haven't registered with GigajamOnline, why not register today and join in. The first lessons are available for free as is this section of the forums.

Hi Chris,

Good to hear from you.

The Level 2 and 3 lessons on our service here at www.gigajamonline.com are currently in PDF format and do look different from Level One. There are videos and Xtractor files for each exercise, though and they are represented by the Film icon and the Gigajam G icon just above each musical stave for each exercise.

The files can be uploaded in the same way as in Level One. Simply load the exercise Xtractor file, record your performance in Xtractor and then, when ready, press the Upload button. It will go straight into your portfolio.

I hope that makes sense but let me know if you need anything.

Best wishes,

Brian

Thanks for the very prompt reply, Brian.

I sussed the problem. My current browser of choice is Google Chrome, but this doesn't seem to be allowing me to click on the video and Xtractor file icons. So, I tried Internet Explorer and - VOILA!! Problem solved. Don't know if you're aware of this glitch or if it's a problem my end. But no big deal - I can just use IE for the Gigajam website.

Thanks again!!

Chris

Hey Chris,

Yeah some browsers don't open the PDF in the browser, so the links don't work. We have a fix for that, but using IE, works great.

If you need anything just let me know.
Best wishes,
